TO ALL - The ATHM of Europe is about to be spunoff - Check out UIHIA on the Nasdaq - they are about to spin off UIH european cable network with internet access etc - IPO schedule for mid - Feb on Nasdaq and European exchanges - Up Big today due to MSFT taking a stake in the spinoff and forming an alliance, but still cheap based on what they will take in on the IPO (1 -1.25 Billion) and that they will own over 60% after the spinoff. THey also own cable networks in other parts of the world that they could also spin off.

Jim in CT, see you already picked up the DLIA confirmation on spinoff.

Was surprised to see they picked up Alex Brown and H & Q to lead the deal. If the the IPO market stays decent deal should be hot.

CITN looks interesting. Will do some checking.

thx

A friend just spoke to CITN's IR (Richard Lange).

Said CITN will retain 85% of shoppingwave.com even after shareholder dividend.

Cannot disclose underwriter yet but it will be a "name" firm which they will announce in the near term or as as possible.

Has anyone checked out shoppingwave.com. Any appeal?

thx
