Re: MSFT... I prefer to get in when attention is not so keen.... while the momentum theory is fine... it carries enhanced risk. i.e., if something totally unrelated event.... devaluations, assassinations, rape, pillage, attack by barbarians, Mexican bandits, you name it, then the fall tends to be vicious. The game is already by its nature risky.. I try to manage it, reduce it, or better, eliminate it (almost impossible, of course.) In MSFT, I have made the mistake, several times of selling far too soon..... then watch it easily double from my exit point. Fear not! once attention wanes, I will get back in MSFT, this time, I plan on holding on to it... One of the best, and I plan that it will continue so. Overall I feel the market may be due for a small correction, and then if no hidden "Christmas Ghost" rears his ugly head, we will head higher, (at least that's my theory). China could become one of those by devaluing the Yuan. Also watch Argentina, who in my opinion they are hanging on a fine line, (mainly due to the Brazilian Samba). I sincerely hope that they succeed in establishing the US Dollar as their currency. If they succeed, it will be a very good example for the rest of Latin America to demonstrate that Latin America can actually exercise some serious discipline... And, perhaps a way to counter certain attack by the Euro as the world reserve currency ~vs~ the US Dollar. Imagine the entire American continent as one solid single market... He, he, he... eat your heart out Brussels ! On MSFT in particular, I am betting against the DoJ, once MSFT clears that hurdle.... I see higher plateaus. Of course, no advice, mere opinion... which I could be wrnog ____________________ Now to be on topic: "I have discovered the art of deceiving diplomats.
