The 3dfx ride has actually been fun?

Simple - we lost our asses on this stock and we moved on. Things look bullish for TDFX for now, but I'm willing to bet that it will drop right back to $12 within two weeks. This is a sector of the marketplace that has simply fallen out of favor with investors. Maybe someday that will change but not anytime soon, I fear.

Well, I never thought that I would say this but TDFX volatility has actually been a plus for once. If you took advantage of the potential merger by taking the tax loss in December, you definitely understand the smile I have right now. I'm still long, and with the merger the potential for being "longer" is definitely there. (granted, the merger still has to be approved). V3 is looking more and more like it will be a success and should to well in the retail channel. Personally speaking, after buying V1, V2, and Banshee, I will definitely be buying a 3000 once it hits the shelves (free up one pci slot, 2x sli speed, no more voodoo2 pass cable, and support "my"/"our" company, no brainer...).

Fallen out of favor? Heh, that would imply that we were once IN favor.
