thanks for the post..It sure is positive no matter which way you look at it. I esp. like the idea of cien being DEAD issue..... I agree that tlab can't afford another screw up like that one again.... John

jhg, I think that TLAB is a very strong niche player. Clearly, that means that either it will buy other companies to fuel growth or it will be acquired. There are three alternatives: acquire, be acquired, slowly die. If TLAB can get its price up I think we will see some strategic acquisitions, particularly in optical networking (not the C word). The requirement is a high share price, because that is the currency for acquisitions these days.
