Yes, quiet thread, but something's up. Everybody must be paying more attention to their dot.com issues and semiconductor stocks. My 100 shares here were an experiment six months ago with a new account at a cheap internet broker. Service was fine, but AFFX lost about half its value shortly thereafter. I'm now comfortably back in the black, though recently many companies have done well. Today however may put AFFX up among my strongest performers. I expect to see news stories after the market closes.
