Henry: True as far as it goes. However, I think that the question is as already asked: "What constitutes proof?" I think that many companies err on the side of caution upon advice of counsel due to the penalties and fines the laws impose for non-disclosure of material information, insider trading, etc. Its those damn lawyers ya know! JLA

Henry,

I dont know if they are required to release info or not....but i dont believe that releasing it makes it hype...when Merck announces they are applying for an NDA on a new molecule does that make it hype?
