Ten,

And how will it be abused? No Big Brother doomsday scenarios, please.

If a person has done nothing wrong, they shouldn't mind having the details of their private lives exposed. Right?

Personal freedom is a little bit more complicated than blind trust.

Company Directive 1984

As of Jan 1, 2000 company policy will be that every computer owned by Friendly Fire Inc. must have its Intel ID turned on.

Failure to operate a computer in this fashion will be grounds for dismissal.

It is unfortunate that we at FF have had to institute this policy to avoid theft of company time by a few anti-company individuals who seem to think that daydreaming and daytrading internet stocks from their desks is something this company should pay them to do. In particular we are upset with the large number of individuals posting to Silicon Investor.

Only authorized individuals cleared by our public relations department may access that site from company computers.
