JDN: Re TIME: The Canadian Govt. doesn't have time to fritter away if it intends to be ready by 1/1/00. The Bristol Myers lag times show us that. On the other hand, if the Canadian Govt. does not intend to be ready by 1/1/00, then this is a nice piece of business for TAVA that extends past 1/1/00. It looks like a win/win situation for TAVA. Win if the CG says "hurry up", and win if things proceed at the Bristol Myers pace. And since we can assume that Bristol Myers was working at a serious pace, it just doesn't look good for the CG being ready in time. I think the situation throws real doubt on the recently released "rosy scenarios". TAVA has said repeatedly that it was performing triage, and that there would be lots of work after 1/1/00. Chevron, to its credit, has upfront said it wouldn't cross the finish line with work finished.
