Janice - timber and the land on which it is grown is my business for thirty years now.
The over-riding market fact at the moment is that like all commodities, wood is cheap.
I don't know for sure, but I expect that our local experience applies somewhat world-wide, and anybody selling land at this point in the cycle is giving it away. Haven't lurked the 'wood' thread, am real busy .... cheers

Last week, I just knew that hands had been joined and looking glasses had been passed through.
Since we have a door, we must have a dormouse. I think that the Mad Hatter is taken and, maybe, the Queen(off with their heads), but I would like to reserve the role of the Chesire Cat...I have a very good grin.
