Undertaking for tonight: My alerts are all going off this morning and this afternoon. My autoruns are constantly updating with news on my database. What I think to do this evening (in my spare time lol) is to make some screen shots and examples of the autoruns and the alerts, how they work and then I will do a intraday 5 and/or 15 minute chart of how I responded to the alert (today for example BOBJY, SKYW,AOL, VRTS,JNJ,AEOS, AMTD,RFMD ACTN, MENT,NTBK, MSPG, ITN etc.) all gave me clear signals. You are not going to want to act on all of them of course but its good to know if your database is exploding that way. I also got a false alert for FRX so its not infallible. ITN gave one yesterday so today I didn't act just confirmed the hold, in fact these signals are good for confirming your positions that are still trending up. I think its really important in the height of this earnings season to get the most out of the newsletters even more than the watch lists My alert parameters are set up simply for higher volume and early entry breakout price (not exactly breakout) and sometimes breakout depending on the stock.. I track about 25 at a time which is not half as much as other traders. I will show you shots of the parameters as well. These samples will be with NAQ's real time trader, Telescan's autoruns, and telescan's charting and/or NAQ's charting. the alerts from Dow Jones disappear so I can't retrieve them.. they just pop on the screen so I'll substitute my telescan alerts which are just as good. But I will tell you how to configure the program in AB Watley for the news alerts. I find by far the best alerts are from NAQ.. Real time trader. You can set these alerts on stocks that are not in the data base at all through their global scan features.
