CC's seemed to be the logical move last time. I (thankfully) never pulled the trigger. Right now, the near-term fundamentals are not driving the stock - alliances and consolidation are. That makes it very difficult to time any hedges.

I tried it with another one of my core "high fliers" (Novellus) several weeks ago. The near-term horizon simply does not justify the current price. But, I picked the wrong expiration, and my shares got called. One month further out would have been a different story. :- /
