You have to look at more than M3, need to see the velocity numbers etc. Also I have seen other numbers for Japan in particular that suggest more growth than that.

Anyway as far as your question when will the chickens come home to roost I assume your are making an implication regarding inflation. I have been monitoring money growth globally and there is a lot of money being printed and not just in the US, so the inflationary tinder is out there. I don't believe it will be lit, however, until we see some strong growth out of Asia.
