NORTHBROOK, Ill., Jan. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The Children's Beverage Group, Inc. (OTC
Bulletin Board: TCBG) has announced that it has been selected by Wal-Mart to produce
its Great Value/Backpack 10% fruit juice drink with the "rip it sip it(TM)"
straw-in-the-pouch for its exclusive VPI Program. The VPI Program stands for "Volume
Producing Item."

The Children's Beverage Group, Inc. President and CEO Jon Darmstadter said, "It is
unprecedented for an item to be chosen by Wal-Mart for VPI status after less than thirty
days in their stores. However, with the success of the Great Value/Backpack item, a
virtual sell-out with constant reorders, Wal-Mart has instructed TCBG to produce cases in
record numbers."

Darmstadter also stated, "TCBG looks forward to accelerating its production capability
immediately with receipt and installation of its three latest VolPak 240DF machines, as it
gears up production to serve (all) Wal- Mart stores coming into the Spring season."
