Hello everyone,

i am new to Silicon Investor and I was interested in keeping track of all the members that have given the best stock picks on Silicon Investor. I will start looking back at various threads to find the posts if there is anyone else who has checked various members stock picks and rated them, please post the members. I think the people who are the best stock advisors should be recognized.

From the MRVC Thread(IMHO a competent bunch)

Some of the trends in MRVC's favor are:

1) Need for (much) faster networks to allow VPNs, voice+data integration, multimedia
applications such as Video-conferencing, etc on the same networks.

2) Need for smarter and more capable network switching, especially at the Optical
layer

3) Speed requires ASIC integration. Who else has in-house knowledge?

4) "Metro" and other inter-networks are still in their infancy.

5) IT network administrators are increasingly coming under budget constraints, forcing
them to look for ways to get more while spending less.

6) The predomininant installed LAN technology is Ethernet and the explosive move to
FE/GE is still just getting started.

7) Most big corporations (Enterprises) now have existing Fiber Optic backbones in
their buildings, but are still using them at Copper speeds. They need easy ways to
leverage that investment.

8) Many customers out there would love to have another good alternative to CSCO -
especially if they offer higher performance, plug compatability, support AND lower
prices.
