Hi Lorrie.. on that expanding or contracting universe thing. Its still a no answer call (.. as it will always be due to many factors the scientists who study these things don't put into their equations). But for the record there's some evidence that the expansion is increasing in velocity. The concept of IF the universe will continue to expand or will eventually contract is based on there being a neat relationship between energy, matter, time and distance. This is expressed as a constant in most experiments. But constant is as constant does, some unexplained holes in observations are causing doubts that constants are.
