I don't have a guess as to the actual numbers. I only know my furnace is running much less frequently. Also, gasoline has been down about a nickel over the past week, so the gas stations here must be loaded to the brim. Of course, if oil traders are also expecting miserable numbers, perhaps the API has been priced in already. But, I have to remind you that I'm not good at predicting these things, which is why I'm not trying to catch every little ripple for a short term trade. (I'm actually amazed so many people on this thread are still trying to short-term trade this sector on the long side. I'd think it would be easier to make money trading a sector which is actually in a bull market.)
