Blake; you are now "short" the same number of shares you owned. You should hope the stock goes DOWN; then buy it back, and take the profits.

If the stock goes up, you're losing the difference between the "bid" price and your execution price; if you don't know what you're doing, and you just want to get out, just buy-back the same number of shares you sold before....and you'll zero-out your position....hope that clears things up for you....regards, sw
