Why yes indeed you can really place a lot of faith in those announcements about the Longport scanner, if a deal they said they did 6 months ago, and said was complete then, is likely at best still weeks away from completion. That John Schmitz is a genius. Unfortunately his precociousness seems limited to the crafting of the Press Releases. Maybe the Board of Directors should have placed organizational and tactical skills a little higher on the list of qualifications for CEO or were they looking for a fall guy? Some times mergers get held up because of Justice Department monopoly concerns. Do you suppose that this is what is going on?
