<<This disk & drive must be VERY fragile.>> Please. both Zip and Jaz read the same "always return the Jaz disks into its case when not in use or when you are transporting your jaz drive". the same reading is found on nearly every box manufactured. my zip disk is always hanging halfway in and halfway out of the zip drive and/or plugged into the drive. 3.25 floppy drives also carry the same warning. for most disks, they're safer being IN the drive than being OUT of the drive where they are subject to a greater number of elements.

as for RR's comment regarding "well hey, the clik drive is portable bud, so, hey..." when the camera is shut off and the disk is enclosed in the camera, the main magnetic force that is going to ruin the information on the disk is Superman's X-ray vision.
