Personally, I think the Jan 2000 leaps with a strike of between 100 and 110 are pretty good. Every 5 point differential in strike price is carrying about a $2 premium. Check it out.

I also think CSCO is going to split with the upcoming earnings. I bet a 3:2 since they have the authorized share capital to support it. Historically, they split between $75 and $100.

She's right on LEAPs. Get the book and buy a few way out, like 2001. Offer the bid price + 1/8 and don't get impatient. You'll fill cheap eventually. After a rise sell calls at 10 points above your calls (creating a spread) and locking out losses. Then wait -- on Cisco, Intel, Dell or Microsoft and AOL.
