G'day all - some news from China CB.

bloomberg.com

Upon reflection, I think there is a big difference between Brazil and China that people may overlook when they propose the domino theory. As Sam said awhile back, the rich in Brazil has learned to profit from [hyper]inflation and therefore internal politics is a major factor in its decision. OTOH, China may not be as rosy as it has projected, one of the major factors, I speculate, is to collect international favour. That being the case, she may try to "hang tough." It may be a small price to pay for international politics.

best, Bosco
