Thanks for info re Cadillac hoax. Just called my parents.

One of the best things I've learned about Y2KNEWSWIRE ... is when they find something to be false, they immediately let us know.

Wish they verified first before printing though. Maybe after this happening, they'll be more careful. Problem is, they don't have a big staff to investigate ... so, best they can do ... is print what they hear and wait for feedback. Usually they get it within 24 hours from "subscribers", who check out and verify, and get more details. This is only the 2nd or 3rd retraction I've seen in past two months - so, it seems they're doing a pretty good job.

Guess next time I'll wait a few days for verification before I post anything from Y2KNEWSWIRE to make sure that everything has been verified.
