I'm a little fuzzy, I had a cardiac "event" and am on drugs. Like a spots event but not as much fun. In the 50s my dad got box seat tickets to the White Sox behind the visitings player dugout. I couldn't see over the box so I got to sit in the field next to the dugout. The Yankees dugout. Stengel, Maris, Mantle, Ford, Richardson................. hell, they were ahead by 16 games and this game in the hole by the 4th. They patted my head for luck before batting. I should have asked for a signed ball but I never thought about it. Jeez, 13 and talk to Mantle? One on one?
