Suspect some of the JDS movement today can be attributed to the big move in Uniphase which I believe is one of JDS' prime competitors. Uniphase reported pretty good numbers today, however at a glance they don't seem as stellar as JDS' most recent growth figures. Any thoughts?

By the way, I still think $100 a share is doable this year. Come summer we should start to trade on expectations for next year. Given the growth rate, I think 100 is clearly achievable using a forward PE of roughly 50.

Pat - are you still watching SDL Optics? What's your thoughts on an entry now that it has jumped so much. Welcome back by the way.

I suspect that between $59-64 will be resistance for JDS with a breakout above $64 being clear sailing towards $70. Perhaps mid Feb. may be to short a time span for $70 target. I would not be surprised but to play it on the safe side with no market correction end of Feb.
