The woman I spoke with said that those who are shareholders of CPQ are owners of AV.
It is the same analogy to Pepsi shareholders who got YUM shares when it was spun off,
AT&T shareholders who got Lucent when it was spun off, MALL shareholders who got
UBID and DBCC who got Marketwatch shares etc.
I am a Pepsi shareholder and when YUM was spun off, I got the shares at the insider
price.
She said as far as ratio, how many AV shares for CPQ, she has no idea and believes
that Fridays conference will clarify the loose ends.
