Does anybody get it here?? The CEO of a company is asking you don't invest in my company you are going to get killed. This stock is too volatile for any individual whether short or long.
Leave this Baby alone! Invest in safe companies! I am not saying Amazon is not a good company but it is dangerous to invest in stocks that have so much volatility

They really said this on the conference call (I got in late on the CC)? Has Bezos turned over a new leaf? This will kill his stock tomorrow! Perhaps the shorts will come out of this ahead despite the better than expected earnings.

As a short, I must say that what I did hear sounded good (for a long, long, term investor) When the price drops enough I may buy a few shares and tuck this into my long-term portfolio. Until then let the air out Jeff, let all the air out of your own company!!! A real gut call on his part. I salute the man (the first time I have ever said anything nice about him).

Cheers,
Bob
