"What has been INTEL's guidance on chip sales this quarter?"

On the earnings conference call Intel indicated supply was still tight in the first quarter based on orders from OEMs, but they were going to judge that demand down a bit based on historic Q1 reality. If Intel is wrong, numbers will be higher, if they are right they will build some needed inventory for Q2.

Last I heard, Q1 was sold out for x86 CPUs and Xeons in particular were sold out "into the foreseeable future".

Now, being "sold out" is a situation that can change dramatically and rapidly - a standard disclaimer.
