Without going into too much detail, the following chart is interesting:

bigcharts.com

This is a Money Flow Index (MFI) chart. MFI purports to measure the total net flow of money into and out of a given stock. Thus, it is very interesting to note that there was not a significant dip in MFI even in the face of the dip in price. Especially interesting is to note that at the *worst* point yesterday, the MFI still was *higher* than it had been intraday on Wednesday (probably because some profit-taking had taken place beginning early this week).

Taken to its logical conclusion, this suggests that yesterday and today were a "buying opportunity".

Caution: such macro studies need to be taken carefully. So later on tonight, once the daily charts have been updated, this 6-month chart will be more important:

Standard caveats re technical indicators. Do your own Due Diligence. Etc.

In the current edition of the medical newsletter put out by the Mayo Clinic they have a article about rheumatoid arthritis and the various new treatments that are being developed. They indicate that they tested the prosorba column there at the Mayo Clinic and that it showed only MODEST benefit for the patients.
