Michell, Pilch or Filch.. is a throwback. He's the kind of guy who stares at women just to call them names. He feels men are trapped by an evil in women. He thinks lust is a sin and sin is damnation, yet he's probably got secrets that keep him up late into the night. Thus his vocabulary fails him, he resorts to words that belittle his imagined enemies and raise his own status. There's a lot of this on this thread. Its because the Capital is daily arguing morality as a crime. In the old days it would have been a scandal, one heck of a scandal. Today it brings out the worst fools. Having said that I'm probably one for participating in this commedy.
