Still sounds good though! Actually really good.

They will announce it saying "To help the launch we have created a strategic marketing alliance with AMZN" and the stock will fly! They really should spread all this over about a week. It would literally drive this stock through the freakin roof!

Rande Is,

Just read an interesting news article on AMZN. Says they want to join forces with retailers of other merchandise so that you can buy anything online through them or their partners. Here's the story.

biz.yahoo.com

Wonder if PRFM will be their perfume partner?

OK, for ultimate clarity. .

I forgot about a PR wording that has been confused. I should have remembered that issue, but thanks to one of our investors, I think it has been made completely clear. And I stand corrected. Here goes:

Hi Rande,
Thanks for your great Home thread. Enjoying the perf ride. On the PRFM
thread, you just posted that Amazon will be displaying ads upon release
of the website. Are you sure? Where did you get this information?
Please provide a link on the thread or give your source.

I suspect that you may be mistaken, as many others have been, by the
12/16 press release which DOES NOT state that they will be advertising
with AMZN & YHOO. Of course, they may link up with AMZN or YHOO, but as
far as I know, there is no public knowledge to that effect.

Here's the misunderstood portion of the release. Read it carefully:
''In addition to implementing the marketing and advertising strategies
used on the worldwide web by e-commerce leaders such as Yahoo
(NASDAQ:YHOO - news), Amazon.com (NASDAQ:AMZN - news), Microsoft
(NASDAQ:MSFT - news), E-Trade (NASDAQ: EGRP -
news) and others, we intend to drive customers to our web store through
store synergy, banner promotions in our 290 store locations and the
special advantage we have from years of experience selling to consumers
across the board."

It only states that they will use the same strategies that AMZN, YHOO,
et al. use.

If you have another source or need to make a correction please do so.
We don't need any false expectations, and in due course we will find out
about their advertising plans.

Thanks again for your thread.
David
