Glenn,
This is a trouble some issue and I think the pressure is showing up on the company. I really don't want to comment on the stock price because
at this time it is trading in the stratosphere. But I sincerely doubt the company will go bankrupt or end up being finished any time soon.
But I feel there is a correction in store and it will happen and reality will reign.
The wand to grow revenues so they will have more loyal customers but If I end up selling things cheaper then what happens to Amazon's margins?
But man when a CEO of a company says don't buy the stock then don't buy it.

I love it how the bears now praise Bezos. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Glen... what I heard was that they have to invest in infrastructure systems for supplier chain management and warehousing automation. These are big expenses, but once they are in place they begin to operate more in line with the DELL virtual integration model. This is huge... if they can pull it off in the next year... it becomes gravy train in the following years...because they will have the customers (through branding and outstanding customer experience).
