Don, from what I read in EV news Dec. 1999 one of the items before senate is another $5000 credit deduction on the price of EV if it uses advance batteries that will go over 100 miles on a charge. This is in addition to the 10% tax credit deduction already give to EVs and that will be extended to 2010. also a large tax deduction for charging system. This bill should be introduced this spring on bipartisan basis.
