CPQ

Targets are great. But if CPQ goes to 80, they will declare a future split date and it will run to $120 like the last time. Tomorrow should be intersting, but there are massive sellers out there waiting for it to hit $50. If it can break that, then we will have to see where the next level of selling pressure comes in.

The real issue will be the Alta Vista spinoff. If they do it right, I don't see a problem with $100 at all, but they have got a lot of competition and you can't just go out and buy everything you need to be a yahoo-beater. What remains to be seen is whether they have a plan and are taking steps toward that.

Earnings and earning forecast will be the pivot point for deciding that - at least by the market. And then there is DELL and GTW still, and you know if CPQ is doing this, they aren't just sitting on their thumbs watching.
