This article confirms my assertion in post # 69272 that K-7 will be checkmated easily by Intel's new process.

There is a lot more to clock speed than just process technology. The Alpha 21164 runs at 700 MHz in a 0.35u process. Don't discount the enormous effect of architecture on clock speed.

Thank you for your post. It kept me holding INTC a couple of months ago. And I think it was a good decision. I just want to say that I appreciate your posting.
