Larsen & Toubro net up 62 per cent to Rs 635.6 million in third quarter Our Corporate Bureau in Mumbai Improved performances by the engineering and switchgear divisions fuelled a 62 per cent jump in the net profit of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) for the third quarter of 1998-99. The company's net profit during October-December stood at Rs 63.56 crore (Rs 1 crore = Rs 10 million).
