Yousef - RE: "Remember Pravin, Intel has a very large facility in Chandler AND they pay a lot in taxes."

At first I thought you had a good argument, but then I realized - What's Intel going to do? Shut down a multi-Billion dollar facility??? I don't think so.

Yes, Intel pays a lot of taxes, but they also don't pay a lot of taxes. I don't know what the situation was when Intel decided to build the facility in Chandler, but I can guarantee you Chandler/Arizona lured Intel to build the facility there by lowering property and whatever other taxes they could for Intel. That is why Intel chose to build a Fab in Fort Worth, TX rather than in some other city. Fort Worth waived lots of taxes (Intel said they would give money to the inner-city and community colleges) and Intel chose them. (Speaking of that Fab, it has been delayed by a year or so.)

Back to my point, Intel and Chandler/Arizonza probably signed a multi-year agreement to keep taxes low for Intel, so Intel isn't going to leave that facility for a while.

Yousef,

Calm down. It is all in jest. Of course it wouldn't pass, and will probably not be submitted. That doesn't stop it from being very humorous, though.

Pravin.
