Stuart,

My comments on Road Runner marketing are based on my conversations with non-tech people, most of them don't know cable internet service exists, much less the benefits. As far as I know, they don't run infomercials in this market, sounds like a good idea.

Coming from a life of sales/marketing, I know you can have the best product in the world but won't get anywhere if you can't communicate the benefits. Disclaimer: My comments are based on my small marketplace, awareness may be much better elsewhere.

John

stuart...Road Runner is just completing it's pilot period in Charlotte N.C. ...I have a friend that was part of the pilot user group...loves the cable access.

Just watched the first TWX text message on Cable TV TWX general information channel this week....they refer people to their home page to signup for the service.

The obvious thing here is that they are going after people that have a PC already....

Haven't seen any TWX infomercials in Charlotte like you refer to in San Diago....yet.
