Bruised balls of an elephant :) Actually, my short was at 50 1/2 on AMTD, went long at 55 1/2, short again today at 60 1/2 so I managed not to lose much at all on a 20% gain by AMTD. Luck though. It will probably gap up again tomorrow and I will be down again.

Well, to be honest I am hanging around because of the IPO issue. Marketwatch.com alone made up for the commission difference. :) However, the way Perot Systems and Modem Media was handled was frustrating, no advance notice or anything. To give you are idea I had 50 trades with Etrade just TODAY so I would think they would try and improve this.

I am actually trying out brown and co right now, but most of my assets are still in Etrade. Etrade seems to not bog down as much as Brown in the AM when things are busy - if Etrade really is going to triple capacity via the Atlanta office I may stick with them.

Truth is I don't mind paying more for Etrade commissions if I get good fills and executions. They are MUCH better than this time last year but still need work. But compared to AMTD, they are god-like.

I agree EGRP is a great stock! A little surprised there has not been more upside in it this week though compared to AMTD.
