ed 2:1 strategy: you will loose.....as soon as fortune leaves you (as long as the circumstances are in favor for the game, you will loose with any strategy)! If you are betting that you don't loose 7 times in a row you have to win 64 times to compensate one single loss. Since the chances are slightly in favor for the game, you will loose at least one time in less than 64 attempts, statistically. If it hasn't occurred so far, fortune had been with you. The nasty thing with this "double the bet" thing is, if you win, your gains are minor if you loose, your loss is huge. Consequently, if you win due to the fact that Fortuna is with you, you should turn above annoyingness upside down. Don't bet against the trend, play with it. Instead of assuming that you don't loose x times in a row, assume that you are winning several times a row. I for myself take 4 times when playing roulette. If I win, I get 1 x 2 x 2 x 2 x 2 = 16 times my forfeits, If I loose, not much harm happens. JMVHO ON TOPIC: I already know that we reached 170 as well as I'm aware that most of us hope we'll reach 200+ soon. Thanks to everyone who repeats facts like on a regularly basis. But to learns this is not the reason for me to watch this board. Is there someone out there who has anything substantive to contribute? e.g. prospects for Q1 based on facts, DOJ news, Insider rumors, .... This puppy has an cap of 427.8 billions now. As you know high flying balloons are very sensitive means of transport. Would be nice to verify that we are still on the right track not only based on the wishes of the longs on this board.
