TomCat, I think you may be a bit low but have the right idea. Fiancing arrangements are no doubt being ironed out and CC or whoever is going let it consolidate for a few days, pick up a few free trading shares, and set the discount for their people. Thirty or forty cents on a $5 million or so financing adds up. I've gort a hunch NWI is mobilizing extra drills as we speak. Also I've got a hunch that the tag-ons are not the ones to play in this rush, it'll be those juniors that have the correct geology and experience. And yes Falconbridge and others are in there staking as well. Heard from one of the companies that an airborne instrument was flown right over their stakers heads and only a major could afford to pull that stunt in a play like his.

What I did hear was that Falcon contacted two
companies that already have claims in Lac R.
Also, that Falcon began air surveys on Tuesday.
I asked around and was told that the style of
surveying cost about $500k to $600k...Falcon
has this kind of money? Not unless they know
the area somewhat...which they do. Two geologists
said FB had arranged a conference with NovaWest
to discuss their details for a JV on NVE's claims.
This makes some sense to me because each company
has some experience and some details on the area.
What is being discussed is the "geo-chemical"
model which has been misread by others. Field
survey crews were saying they had tagged hundreds
of claims under contract for NVE in the area up
to Nuinsco's land and in adjacent areas...nothing
has been reported yet by any of these companies.
Word from the Vancouver Gold Show is that the map
makers are busy making area play maps...I called
and they confirmed this. Some of the smaller fish
are getting ready to announce claims in the area
so it is obvious the area play is in effect. The
Newsletter writers should have something out in
one to three weeks. Has anyone heard from any of
the Guru Writers yet? Also, on TV today...industry
officials are expecting the price on Ni to be up
by spring...good luck guys.
