PIII offers nothing worth more than about a $10 premium over PII. Throw in the ID stuff and the value of PIII gets pretty close to $0.

PIII adds a $500 premium because it theoretically can speed up some graphics functions. Why not buy a professional graphics card with the money instead?

Sorry Paul. If Intel thinks that PC buyers are idiots, they are headed for trouble.
