Ten - Re: "Regarding AMD, please consider that I may have information about the K7's performance that has not been made public. "

Maybe AMD didn't show all their K7 slides in public at last October's Microprocessor Forum.

They may have saved a few just for the perusal of Linley Gwennap, the HOST of the forum !

Paul

Tenchusatsu,

Regarding AMD, please consider that I may have information about the K7's performance that has not been made public.

This is great news. Thank you so much. I guess the 2,000 shares of AMD that I picked up last week at $22.5 might be a good investment after all.

Pravin.

Tenchusatsu, Re: The point I tried to make in the editorial is that Intel shouldn't be counting on AMD to fail

Does that mean every CPU maker if execute properly would
get the same yield, speed etc. that Intel is enjoying ?

It sounds like saying "Chicago Bull shouldn't be counting
on Jazz, Lakers and other NBA teams to fail".

This Linley Gwennap is interesting.

Gary

Tench - RE: Regarding AMD, please consider that I may have information about the K7's performance that has not been made public.

Thanks for posting the reply! This has solidified my thinking that the K7 will be superior to any Intel processor when the K7 comes out, and maybe superior to any Intel processor until Willamette.

:)

Tenchusatsu,

Re: " I wonder what kind of secret information he has on K7's performance."

And I wonder if his "secret information" is all on "foils".

Make It So,
Yousef
