Tenchusatsu, Re: The point I tried to make in the editorial is that Intel shouldn't be counting on AMD to fail Does that mean every CPU maker if execute properly would get the same yield, speed etc. that Intel is enjoying ? It sounds like saying "Chicago Bull shouldn't be counting on Jazz, Lakers and other NBA teams to fail". This Linley Gwennap is interesting. Gary

Tench - RE: Regarding AMD, please consider that I may have information about the K7's performance that has not been made public. Thanks for posting the reply! This has solidified my thinking that the K7 will be superior to any Intel processor when the K7 comes out, and maybe superior to any Intel processor until Willamette. :)
