Absolutely incredible! MSC-48 in 1976 created the market for 8-bit microcontrollers, soon followed by the MCS-51 series in the early 80's (which is still the most heavily used 8-bit architecture in the world!) Then the MCS-96 architecture in the mid-to-late 80's practically created the embedded 16-bit market (which is still going strong today). Not to mention the i960 and, most recently, StrongArm families and embedded x86 solutions ... jeez, I AM ranting now, aren't I?

This guy Jesse Berst doesn't have a clue! I guess anyone can get published these days.
