Look-- I will try to spoon feed you this. A brokerage firm does not have an electronic ticket to a MM. Probably a small brokerage. A trade is made. Done manually. The trade is run on the floor to the MM. He puts it on his desk. Then after the trading is done for the day, i.e. 4PM, he manually enters that information. Then it is logged into the electronic system and shows up on the after hour screens. OK? The market CLOSES at 4PM-- is that hard to understand? The closing price you see on Yahoo or below is the CLOSING price. What is so difficult to understand here?
