Anybody: Now that the TSA has been signed and G* can get cranking, some questions:

Q reports groundstations as shipped and money received from them. I recall previous posts mentioned that final software and system installation will occur after testing (16 sats up). Have all the groundstation activities been paid for up front? Is the Q on the hook for future efforts to fine tune the groundstations/software or are there payments to follow?

Reports have the current prototype handset already smaller and lighter than the item shown on the web site. When will the final versions be baselined? (software and handsets) Are they tied to an event such sat testing complete minus 3 months?

What is the method for getting all the groundstations up to the same level of software/hardware for start up? How many upgrades are grandfathered in until Q gets fresh money?

Anyone have any insights?

<<Make lucite cube paperweights with an ASIC chip inside, and offer to sell them to people like us (Silicon Investor nuts).>>

Good idea, Jon, but I'd prefer to have a lucite cube encasing a G* leo sat if I get a choice; second, of course, to having G* stats in orbit, that is! ; )
