Hi John man you are mean, ain't you?<vbg> But you know I like Jim's and Gabriel's analysis considering the pundits predictions,lemme put it you this way if Kurlak,Kumar and the other 'experts' can be wrong (sometimes consistently) our guys are allowed to be a bit off now and then,no? Besides I think Digital saved EK's ass,what you think? But still excellent performance,I must admit. Also now I think Dogpaq ooops Compaq got a real deal on Digital on account of the following. Paid what $8.4 billion DEC cash at the time of buying about $2 billion Now some say AV is worth anywhere from $2-5 billion A nice tax write off,don't recall how much but pretty good amount. So at the end CPQ got DEC for about $4 billion,not too shabby. I am glad for you are finally getting some return from them assuming you are still in Compaq,now you can buy me a beer can you not?
