My short term greedy side would be unhappy not to obtain AV shares as CPQ shareholder. This is due to the internet stocks rising so much.
AV will certainly have some of that magic internet fairy dust.
Remember that AV was part of the DEC acquisition and CPQ had the
strategic plan to acquire the whole lot for long term shareholder
value. The fact that Schrock moves to AV is a clear indication that
CPQ will have control over AV, (at arms length?). (a residual benefit for CPQ shareholders)

If shareholders are unhappy with this decision it can be voiced at the
next shareholder's meeting. The key might be how institutions feel about it. <Which institution is handling the partial IPO.>
