My feelings as a Vivus investor.

PICTURE THIS:
Leland as the pilot of a four engine airliner with three engines on fire, no place to land and running low on fuel over the Atlantic Ocean. To compound the problem, Leland realizes he's never flown an airplane in his life. The worst part of this desperate situation is that we are the passengers and Leland has the only parachute.

...and I believe they have not filed any paperwork for approval in Japan.

I really hope you're wrong on this one... If they haven't even filed the paperwork yet, they are months behind. That is just plain stupid. Get the approval process working, sign the partner DURING the approval process.
