It's too early to tell if LU can keep up with Cisco.

I think we will know in about 4 or 5 years. IMHO

But I've put my money on who I think will win! <gg>

Babe's comparison of LU and CSCO,
I really don't know why we fight so much between the LU and CSCO thread about who will win, but we do! Most of you own both. I used to, but sold my LU and put in CSCO because I felt it would do much better than LU, long term. Why?
I did business with the Regional Sales manager for LU at the time they split; (sold him about 3K worth of Garage Cabinets for his new home, and met two of this reps), I was not impressed. Just personal and very limited experience, I admit
"Babe" talks about the Ascend/Lu merger turning the arena from one 800lb gorilla into two 400lb gorillas. Hey, CSCO still makes the rules, and Ascend wasn't able to stop Cisco's dominance.
My conclusion? If you want one stock in the telecommunication's business, own CSCO. If you want a basket, own the obvious bunch.
