Can there be any justification for the garbage you clutter the Lucent thread with? I'm sure you'll have more fun on SI if you stick to the My Dictionary thread and leave the real threads to people who make long-term investment decisions based on the useful information posted by investors. You could also try the Yahoo! chat rooms, which I hear are much more your speed; I'm sure there's one there for Lucent.
I've got to worry about LU's purchase of Ascend if you and Sherry are any indication of the typical Ascend shareholder. Remember, you can always sell your new Lucent shares for a nice profit!

4. What the hell would you know, what my "speed" is... wrong again.
5. For your information, I am long Lucent, have been for a while, and probably will be, provided the market does not change. Of course that can change.
Such does not preclude me to use specific strategies along the way, in fact, I believe I have also disclosed such. The market is dynamic, therefore, said strategies may change as my opinion of the market may also change.
The rest of my portfolio is "For My Eyes Only", so you could not possibly know if I own Ascend or not.
6. You "worry" about the Ascend acquisition.... well, be my guest, worry all you want, I am not stopping you, (nor Sherry, nor anybody else, only you can do that). By the way, if you do not wish to read a specific post, there is always the "Next" button, you know, the one that is located at the top and bottom by the frame of the post. It is mentioned in the same manual from Arsenio Hawl I mentioned earlier.
7. As for NOT having fun in SI.... Come on !... How can I NOT have fun, in SI we have the a rich collection of American Folklore !
We have: Morons galore, neurotic PHD's, psychic researchers, engineers with PMS, Chickens, Neo-Nazi bigots, bible thumpers, anti-christ maniacs, Republican Hamas members, crappy lawyers, comandante marcos, revolutionary ghosts, Canadian shorters, Amazombies, Mexican bandits, Christmas ghosts, trolls, fairies, nitwits, Irishmen, wine snobs, FTELIANS, market makers, Blinkers, Gold nuts, Y2K alarmists, zebras, computer programers, FBNA ceo's, desperados, Italian art dealers, Latin American former dictators, Argentinean Generalisimos, grub addicts, Asian despots, red necks, refugiados, .... the list goes on...
So.... Take a break, smell the flowers, it's only money.... and have fun, it does not hurt. Remember, there is always the "Next" button.
